NDIS stands for National Disability Insurance Scheme. NDIS is a government funded scheme that provides eligible people with disabilities reasonable and necessary funding for support services to assist in everyday life. This can include self-care activities, social support, domestic assistance amongst other things.

To be eligible for NDIS a participant much be an Australia Citizen or hold a Permanent of Special Category Visa. You also need to be under the age of 65 and have a permanent diagnosis.

A Support Worker is someone who provides practical support to a participant. This can include personal care, social support, domestic assistance and transport.

To be a support worker with Attend Support Services you will need a Working with Children’s Check, NDIS Worker Screening, Police Check, First Aid and CPR Training. There is other documentation required, please reach out to us for further details.

Unfortunately Attend Support Services do not offer Support Coordination services. However, if you require a Support Coordinator, we can refer you to another provider we trust.

Absolutely! Here at Attend Support Services, we tailor the support for each participant to their specific needs and requirements. We will provide you with Support Worker profiles that match your preferences.

We will work closely with you and your support network (Support Coordinator, Plan Manager, family etc.) to ensure that you have adequate funding for the supports you are requiring. We align our prices for support with that of the NDIS price guide.

We roster supports at the time you require them. We will work with you and your support network from the beginning of your onboarding to ensure that your support is exactly as you require. We will provide you with either written or verbal notification at any point of a change to your roster, we pride ourselves on our strong communication between all staff and participants. If at any time your needs or preferences change, we will support you in re-tailoring your roster to suit whatever changes arise.

If you wish for your family to be involved in the structure and delivery of your support, all you need to do is let us know. We will then work with you and your family/caregivers to make sure you are getting exactly what you need via a team approach.

Yes, we do service Aged Care. We are currently an unregistered Aged Care provider and service many self-managed Aged Care consumers. We are planning on completing our registration once the exciting changes to the ACAT model take effect in July 2025.
